A $50K beachfront home is set to be completed in the city of New Orleans this month, but the cost of the property will be the most expensive project ever built in the United States.
The $1.2 million condo is slated to be built on the site of the former New Orleans Saints football stadium, which is located about 60 miles east of New York City.
The project will include the construction of a 50,000-square-foot condominium, the construction and renovation of a clubhouse, an amphitheater, a fitness center, and other amenities.
The developer is seeking to build the condo in the same year that it will become a permanent landmark in New Orleans.
The city has granted the developer $1 million to complete the project, and the city has also awarded $25,000 for design and design-build consulting, $20,000 to design the condo and $5,000 per month to operate the project.
The city has awarded $20.4 million in incentives to help the project come to fruition, including $2.3 million in hotel tax revenue.
The new home will be built next to a hotel where the Saints play, and it will be surrounded by an amphitheatres for the Saints and the Louisiana Gulf Coast.
The condominium will be located on a lot that the city’s Parks and Recreation Department bought in December.
The condominium has been designed by the architect of the building, Eric Licht.
Licht designed the Saints’ stadium, as well as a home for the New York Mets and the Saints, and is also known for designing and building the Empire State Building and the Empire Polo Club in New York.
He is a member of the architectural firm Arup.
