Trump’s proposed budget for fiscal year 2018 includes $5.6 billion for the state of New Mexico, $5 million for the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Department of Health and Human Services, and $1.8 billion for New York City.

Trump’s budget is to be voted on Tuesday by the House of Representatives, which has the power to override a veto.

The House is also expected to vote on a budget resolution that would provide $1 billion to help New York rebuild after Hurricane Sandy, and another $1,000 for the federal government to help local police, fire, and ambulance departments respond to natural disasters.

A Senate version of the budget, which would authorize spending on military construction, was also approved by the Senate Appropriations Committee on Tuesday.
