As you might imagine, the top-selling meme for the week was one of the most recognizable: a photo of a construction crane that took down a giant crane at the top of the Eiffel Tower.

“I love the crane,” wrote one user.

“The crane took down the entire tower,” wrote another.

And yet another user posted: “The photo of the crane took it down the Eifel Tower.”

And then there were the memes.

A picture of a crane at work?

You’re in luck: “A crane was recently involved in the work at the E.T. for a construction project at the Paris Opera House,” wrote user dave.

“It took down two columns and broke through a concrete wall,” added user dawdaw.

“A guy was running around the site taking pictures and he saw this crane and asked if he could take a picture of it,” added another user.

But it wasn’t just crane-related news that got your attention.

“Cram-a-doodle-doo,” “Climbing a crane,” and “Crocodile tears” were among the other popular memes that hit the top 10.
